St Albans School Woollam Paying Field Trust is looking to recruit an experienced skilled Groundsman to assist in the maintenance of the playing surfaces of its extensive and prestigious multi-sports facilities. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team undertaking all preparatory and cultivation work including minor construction and landscaping activities. Applicants will have previous experience as a Groundsman, ideally hold a Turf Maintenance/Horticulture or Institute of Groundsmanship vocational qualifi cation and a Spraying Certifi cate (NPTC PA1, PA6 or PA2) would be advantageous. A valid driving licence is essential as is a fl exible and adaptable approach to the variable workload. The position is full time 40 hours per week with occasional weekend work.
