SIGNS OF STRESS IN CHILDREN It is a concern if you notice a significant difference or a change in a child's usual pattern of behaviour. For example, a quiet or shy child may become withdrawn, or a normally outgoing and active child may become aggressive. If some of the behaviours listed occur more frequently it is usually a sign that a child is experiencing difficulty.
