Power Outage Plan
It is important that you think about what
you will do in the event of a power
outage. Do you have a generator? Do
you have neighbors that will help you?
Where is the closest community center?
YOU SHOULD KNOW…
If you are living in a PMQ, you may want to think about having the CFHA sign an authorization form allowing you to
authorize work orders. If something happens that you need fixed, you will then be able to submit a work order directly,
rather than having to request it and wait for it to be approved. You should also make sure that your smoke detectors are
fully functional and replace the batteries at least once a year.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Ensure that with all accounts for the home they are in both parties' names in order to ensure that access is permitted.
