gentle breeze tempered the 90-degree heat at the
Idaho Falls Country Club in Idaho Falls, Idaho,
making for near-perfect playing conditions for golfers
at Potato Grower's 26th annual golf scramble on July 18.
The team of Cody Hendrix, Lynn Wilcox, Derek Peterson
and Nick Higham won the scramble with a score of
12-under 60, taking home $225 each.
Spirits were high throughout the day as 150 growers
and other potato industry players spent the day not
only golfing, but enjoying the opportunity to visit with
friends and colleagues old and new. A hearty, delicious
dinner sponsored by Northwest Farm Credit services
brought the day to a close.
