A. Finding employees that want to work!
These days it seems as if high school
and even college kids have a hard time
committing to a full summer. It seems as
if kids have more and more to do in the
summer either with summer classes to get
ahead, camps, family activities and some
are just lazy!

A. In one word the most difficult part of
my job was "retirement," and I mean that
with all sincerity, deciding to retire and
put away the soil probe, give up those
nights sleeping in the pump house to
make sure your pumps would run all night,
or working those 80-90 hour weeks during
those major renovation projects.
In all reality, I loved my job with all my
heart…passing onto retirement…it's like
the grass going dormant!
Hope that helps someplace or
somewhere, but I do miss the smell of fresh
cut grass.
