The Spring Festivals are the foundation of the CCM Minnesota Hockey High Performance Programs. The festivals are for the top 14– to 18-year-old boys and girls in the state, and players have the opportunity to advance to national level development camps. BOYS/GIRLS 14S PROGRAMS The top 14-year-old boys and girls in the state will take part in district tryouts this spring with the top players moving onto the Spring Festival in April. Participants will have the opportunity to train with and against the state's best players. BOYS/GIRLS 15S PROGRAMS The top 15-year-olds in the state take part in the Spring Festival in April with the top players moving on to the Summer Camps in June. Finally, the National Prep Camp takes place in July for players advancing to the USA Hockey player development camps. TED BRILL GREAT 8 AND 18U BOYS HIGH SCHOOL FESTIVAL This classic springtime tournament held in South St. Paul provides high school juniors and seniors from Minnesota an opportunity to showcase their ability for college, junior, and professional coaches and scouts. HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL INVITATIONAL This tournament features elite boys' and girls' teams of high school players from around the country who compete in front of college, junior, and professional coaches and scouts. Minnesota enters two boys' and two girls' teams. DAVE PETERSON GOALIE CAMP Held each summer in Blaine, the Dave Peterson Goalie Camp provides high- level training for Minnesota's top 15- to 18-year-old goalies. 16/17S SPRING FESTIVAL The top boys' and girls' hockey players ages 16-17 in Minnesota gather at the Plymouth Ice Center to train with and against the best players in the state. Minnesota Hockey, an affiliate of USA Hockey, is the governing body of youth and amateur hockey in Minnesota and the premier developer of hockey players in the state.
