He and Walton are running out of time to see that sort of sweet success return. "Obviously things haven't gone the way we've wanted them to," Ir- vin admitted. "We've battled with injuries. Everyone is healthy now. Derrick and I are healthy, and it's our last year. This is it. "We talk about that all the time — this is it, so let's make the most of it. Let's make this year memorable." ❏ Three-Point Makes Player 3FG 1. Louis Bullock 339 2. Dion Harris 268 3. Daniel Horton 233 4. Zack Novak 213 5. Stu Douglass 205 6. Tim Hardaway Jr. 202 7. Zak Irvin 169 Big Senior Season Could Solidify Legacy Michigan head coach John Beilein made a pointed observation about his seniors on media day. Despite all the injury struggles over the past two years, forward Zak Irvin and guard Derrick Walton have a chance to perform in the NCAA Tour- nament in three of four campaigns. That has to qualify as the top goal for both of those seniors, other than moving forward once they're into The Big Dance. Meanwhile, Irvin has an opportunity to move past a host of very recognizable names in the all-time Michigan record book. Here is a sampling of some categories in which Irvin has a legitimate shot of winding up among the top 25 Wolverines in program history, and one in which he's already there: Irvin already ranks eighth on U-M's all-time three-pointers made list with 187.
