SHOW TIME! T he Off-Road, Automotive, and Racing Industry shows are now upon us! This is the time of year we can see the latest products, meet new manufactures and see how the shows are attended to make some assumptions on the how the markets are performing. With that being said, the excitement in the market is definitely on an upswing, demonstrated by the public and exhibitor attendance at the recent International Off-Road & UTV Show, Off-Road Expo and Sand Sports. These shows all represent critical market areas and regions in our motorsports based segment, representing the UTV, truck and off-road performance lifestyles that SCORE racers and fans live. See the highlights for some of these activities which SCORE International had a large presence at, as we get ready for the 2017 SCORE Baja 1000 50th Anniversary season! The SEMA Show and the SCORE Baja 1000 Experience and Qualifier Presented by BF Goodrich, will now be in its third year. This program continues to grow in its exposure and importance to the participating teams and SCORE's branding efforts to the SEMA Show's world automotive aftermarket product and OEM manufacturers. This year's SCORE Baja 1000 Qualifier will now include the ever expanding Trophy Truck Spec class that will add even more excitement to the SCORE display area and the SCORE Baja 1000 qualifying event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Tuesday, 11/1 at 7pm. We hope to see you there! In this Issue Check out the great coverage for the debut Rosarito Beach 20th SCORE Desert Challenge race that just took place this past September. Congratulations to all the teams and fans that participated in this unique event. Apparently the location, time of year and format were a major positive factor as the race drew 50 percent more entries than the previous few year's race date and location. In an effort to introduce the SCORE Journal viewers/readers to the SCORE staff, and present some insight as to how the SCORE World Desert Championship series is produced, we are spotlighting one of the most impactful individuals in the organization, Jose Grijalva, SCORE Race Director.
