64 "My sculptures have always started as clay, from the very first things I made aged 15 to the works standing half finished in my studio now. For almost all of those years I have used exactly the same type of clay, and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. The possibilities seem endless, the choices a mixture of chance, serendipity and instinct. This catalogue illustrates some of the moments that passed in the making of these works, as well as their finished states, and thereby hopefully illuminates the line that connects my thoughts and ideas through photography, drawing, clay, bronze and paint, taking me forward (and then back) to a particular moment and memory of a time being."
