Swanigan, one of 10 preseason All-Big Ten honorees,
figures to improve profoundly in his second, and poten-
tially final, season at Purdue, while newcomers Carsen
Edwards and Spike Albrecht could be in the Boilermaker
backcourt, in the context of what their team needs this
season in their roles.
Everything looks promising.
And so expectations are again high for Purdue.
And those expectations should be different this year.
Given the results of the past two Marches, it's reason-
able to suggest NCAA Tournament success to be essential
come springtime.
"We owe it to Purdue," Haas said. "I just don't want to
be known as somebody who couldn't win an NCAA Tour-
nament game. That's how I look at it. It's really simple."
