WindowWorld.com Five Indiana Locations Lafayette Indianapolis Terre Haute Muncie Columbus NEW STORE 523 S. Earl Ave. Maryland again will compete for the league crown. But after, slotting teams in the middle of the Big Ten becomes more difficult, especially with an unbalanced league schedule that features only 16 games. Purdue will play Michigan State, Northwestern and Penn State twice, a good draw in that it will play Ohio State and Maryland only once each, with both games at home. But the Big Ten is only part of the story. The Boilermakers want to get back to the NCAA, where they feel they should always be, for a second straight year. But they don't want to lose in the first round, as happened last season, a sting that turned into the source of offseason motivation. "It happened in the last game of the season, when the returning players realized that we had to get better," Morrissette said. "We don't want to go to the NCAA Tournament just to be there and we want to ad- vance through the NCAA Tourna- ment. "That loss was definitely one of those things that you take in and you go into summer and you say, 'Do we want that again or do we want something different this year?'" j
