It'll be a heavy burden. Morrissette
will need to score, as she's generally
done — she averaged 13 points per
game last season, top among return-
ees — but could take some of the
point guard duties as well.
And she'll need to lead, although
Morrissette doesn't see her style as
typical. In her experience, a leader is
someone who has a continually posi-
tive approach, one who will spur oth-
ers to action through encouragement.
"You think of great communication
skills and a great attitude all the time,"
she said. "Some days that doesn't fit
me, and some days it does. I just try to
help out to do whatever it takes to help
the team."
Morrissette takes an emotional ap-
