Each calendar year brings a crop of excit- ing style trends and hot sellers, many of which are introduced just before the next season is upon us to take the market's temperature. This way, when the collec- tions roll out, the debuts have been given the thumbs up and are ready to make 2017 their year. This approaching season resounds with one delightful word: comfort. Comfort is proving to be the ultimate study in all of the new year's forecasted key pieces. Fashion and comfort haven't exactly been historically synonymous, so this union is most welcome. From weekend wear to the workplace to the gym, comfort is the one thing every person can don daily. A Look Ahead A Trend Forecast for 2017 Jennifer Elgin is a freelance writer and broadcaster, covering fashion and sports beats for various media outlets.
