San Francisco:
A Treat for
Potato Growers
By Dan Lake and Carl Hoverson
Co-chairmen, Potato Expo 2017 Steering Committee
W
elcome to the ninth annual Potato EXPO!
On behalf of the steering committee, we are
excited to welcome you to San Francisco —
a first-time host city for the largest potato industry
conference and trade show in North America.
This year we have more than 2,000 growers,
packers, shippers and every link in the potato supply
chain here in one building. We are glad you are here
to experience it. On an annual basis, we ask attendees
why they attend the Potato EXPO and the No. 1
reason every year is networking. The connections
you make this week and the partnerships you form
will open doors to new ideas and innovations you can
bring back to your business. The impact of the Potato
EXPO lasts all year. Today you will have endless
opportunities to talk potatoes with growers and
industry partners. We hope you share our excitement
about the possibilities to be found at Potato Expo.
