men's basketball program celebrated
a victory over Notre Dame for the first
time in 50 years. On Dec. 17, then-No. 15
Purdue turned in a 86-81 win over the
21st-ranked Irish at the Crossroads Classic
at Indianapolis' Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Purdue had to rally from a 17-point deficit,
the largest come-from-behind victory since
1998 and the largest rally against a ranked
team in program history.
