His motor is always revving, and he gets up the field quickly. "That said, he sometimes gets up the field too quickly. He has to hone that aggressiveness, under- stand where the play is going to go so he doesn't overrun his as- signments. He's a former wrestler, and that shows in his aggressive hands. "He also has a good nose for the ball. He can read screens, you see him drop at times, play in space. There is a lot to like about Glasgow. He's stout versus the run. He's another guy who will be a solid rotational player and fight for starting snaps early in his career." MATT GODIN Position: Defensive tackle Key Factor: Upside Projected Day Taken: Third Brugler's Assessment: "He's 6-5, 295 pounds. You see the strength potential. There's more than just the body. He can move. He's definitely a player who has not played his best football yet, and I think that's the way scouts see him as well. "He's definitely not a household name, but a guy that could be drafted late and work his way up the depth chart as he gets into camp." DELANO HILL Position: Safety Key Factor: Physicality Projected Day Taken: Third Brugler's Assessment: "Coming into the year, he didn't get a lot of high praise from scouts. But you watched Michigan this year and routinely he was in on some big tackles. He's a physical hitter who brings his lower body in his follow-through, explodes through his hips. "His hitting ability leads to him be- ing a little over-aggressive at times — a late hit here, a missed tackle here. Instead of going for the big hit every time, he needs to make sure he's break- ing down on the hit and finishing. "The big question with Hill is, can he do enough in coverage to stay on an NFL football field? He has the makeup and football ability to make a living on special teams while he's fighting for a job in the secondary." KYLE KALIS Position: Offensive guard Key Factor: Technique development Projected Day Taken: Third Brugler's Assessment: "You watch his highlights and you think, 'Okay, this guy is an NFL player.' Then you watch the lowlights and you say, 'Oh wow, this guy is not ready for the NFL and for what defensive linemen are going to be throwing at him.' "He's up and down over his career. I know he came in as a top recruit. He needs to really stay focused on the field, believe in his technique. That's where he gets himself in trouble, he's not truly trusting the mechanics of the position. "Kalis needs to buy in if he wants to have a future at the NFL level. He's one of those late rounders — he might get drafted, he might not." JOURDAN LEWIS Position: Cornerback Key Factor: Size Projected Day Taken: First/ second Brugler's Assessment: "Lewis is going to be an interesting test case. The cover skills he brings to the field, the athlete he is, al- most screams first round. The is- sue with NFL teams is going to be the size. "He's probably going to come in under 5-10. Teams are just hesi- tant to use a first-round pick on a corner who is 5-10. With his lack of arm length, that shows at times in coverage. "That said, a team is going to get a very good player in the sec- ond round. He's a guy that can play in the slot, can play outside. Speed is not a question. He's so aggressive, so natural in cover- age, very instinctive and can stay on top of routes. The route recog- nition is exactly what you want from a corner. "He can match up in press [cov- erage]. He has the quick feet to mirror receivers and stay attached at the hip. For Jourdan Lewis, there is so much to like in the cov- erage aspect." ERIK MAGNUSON Position: Offensive tackle Key Factor: Run blocking Projected Day Taken: Third Brugler's Assessment: "I had a lot of high hopes for him coming into the year. There were a lot of good moments, some bad moments. He showed his power at right tackle, and he can move a defensive end off the ball, giving his running backs some room to work. "They could run off the right side at Michigan because of what he does at right tackle. In pass protection, you see some issues he needs to work out. He bends a little too much at the waist, lowering his head. "He can do some things that make you hope he can grow into a reliable pass protector, but at this point, scouts still want to see more."
