With the filter turned on, decorators using their printers for prepress testing can print close to screen- printed images, enabling the operator and client to make alterations before striking off proofs on the press. It allows operators to digitally decorate garments with screen-printing effects such as simulated-process prints. With the filter, the machine can print a traditional amplitude modulated halftone dot. The operator chooses the dot size and the angle at which the dots appear. The filter is available on all new M-Link and M-Link X models.
