58 • RV PRO • March 2017 rv-pro.com The Electrician's Wireless Inspection Camera from Gardner Bender, a sister company to Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based RV products supplier ParkPower by Marinco, is the perfect tool for the technician who doesn't want to have to tear apart an RV's interior wall to diagnose a water leak or electrical problem. The company designed the camera to be able to snake inside of pipes, air ducts and other hard-to-reach places featuring a waterproof LED-lit lens and real-time recording. Wi-Fi transmission of the data supports iPhone, iPad and Android phones, allowing the user to instantly see the results of the inspection on the device of his choice. The IP67-tested waterproof camera is mounted on a 3-foot, flexible fiber-optic cable and is equipped with 3X zoom capability. The cable also is non-conductive up to 500 volts. Video recording and photo capture capability via a download- able App make it a snap to send the information to a supervisor or technician – or even the customers. The kit includes accessories like a hook, mirror and magnet for retrieving small items or looking around corners. Due to the small size and the LED light, the Wireless Inspec- tion Camera has a multitude of other potential uses, such as looking down sink drains for clogs, inspecting dryer vents for lint buildup or checking HVAC vents for dust buildup. Because the product uses a smart device for its screen, it is a fraction of the cost of similar devices that have their own dedicated screens. What impressed RV PRO: Anyone who has ever dropped a ring down a sink can appreciate the overall practicality of the Electrician's Wireless Inspection Camera. But technicians who have to diagnose problems that are hidden behind wall panels also may find a new best friend in this product. The use of a smart device as a viewing screen also makes the product economical. www.park-power.com/en 58 • RV PRO • March 2017 rv-pro.com Distributor Best of Show Wireless Inspection Camera Reese Bischoff, national RV sales manager for Power Products, parent company of ParkPower by Marinco, is pictured on the NTP-STAG Expo show floor with the company's Electrician's Wireless Inspection Camera.
