Football led the way with 19 selections, followed by soccer (14), women's cross country (12), men's cross country (seven) and volleyball (fi ve). Blough was as an honorable mention selection after leading the Big Ten in total offense and passing yardage in 2016. His 3,365 yards of total offense rank sixth in the Purdue season record books, while his 3,352 passing yards rank seventh. That's a tough spot for Purdue to be in at this moment in its history, but it's also a golden opportunity for recruits. Brohm got both of the junior col- lege transfers he targeted for that need — Isaac Zico of Georgia Military College and Terry Wright of Coffeyville in Kansas — and will welcome two early-enrolling players at the position in Florida's D'J Edwards and South Carolina's Tyler Hamilton, the latter of which committed to Purdue when it was between head coaches. Purdue rounded out a fi ve-man receiver class with WKU move-over KeyRon Catlett at a position where Brohm probably would have taken more had he been in a position to. High school wide receiver Darius Pittman projects as a tight end at Purdue. In the secondary, Purdue hoped for a grown-man reconstruction of sorts, but Winfi eld went to West Vir- ginia and former Notre Dame signee Mykelti Williams ran into some en- rollment obstacles with Purdue weeks after committing and wound up at Syracuse. But Purdue did land in December junior college projected safety T.J. Jal- low, probably one of the most impres- sive and potentially impactful talents in the class. High school cornerback Dedrick
