T.J. Jallow can run.
He did so in high school when he finished in second place in
the 200-meter dash in the 6A (big school) Mississippi state finals
as a senior.
But he can't catch. At least he couldn't then, not with enough
proficiency to make him an efficient wide receiver. So midway
through his junior year, he flipped to defense.

Purdue hasn't had many safeties as big and potentially physical as T.J.
Jallow, a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder who played the last two seasons at
powerhouse East Mississippi Community College.
