IMBC moving to New Orleans The International Marina & Boatyard Con- ference, produced by the Association of Ma- rina Industries, will be moving to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Or- leans, La., Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2018, for the show's 16th annual conference. The Morial Convention Center is located 20 minutes from the Louis Armstrong In- ternational Airport and IMBC's host hotel, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel, is walking distance to the Morial Convention Center as well as the French Quarter. "New Orleans is a spectacular backdrop for our conference and will provide inspira- tion for new content and field trips," said Kayce Florio, IMBC coordinator. "The city will be kicking off its 300th anniversary cele- bration while IMBC is there as well. It's going to be an exciting time for all." Suntex Marina's Liberty Landing awarded Marina of the Year by Marina Dock Age Liberty Landing Marina, owned by Suntex Marina Investors, was selected by Marina Dock Age magazine as the 2016 National Marina of the Year.
