PWC PWC sales were up year-over-year in January, according to the latest Info-Link Bellwether report. According to Info-Link, the Bellwether report tracks sales of powerboats across the country based on new U.S. boat registrations on a rolling 12-month basis. Bellwether states are geographically dispersed states represent- ing roughly half of the U.S. boat market (var- ies by market segment and time of year). PWC sales were up more than 9 percent year-over-year in January. SEA-DOO SPARK TRIXX WINS NMMA INNOVATION AWARD BRP won its record-setting ninth NMMA Innovation Award at the 2017 Miami International Boat Show for its new Sea-Doo Spark Trixx. The Trixx model is based on the Sea-Doo Spark, but with added features that offer a fun new way to play on the water. "The Sea-Doo Spark Trixx turns riders into instant trick artists. PWC REGISTRATIONS UP 7.4 PERCENT IN 2016 The National Marine Manufacturers Asso- ciation reports that registrations of new PWC were up 7.4 percent in December on a rolling 12-month, year-over-year comparison. New powerboat registrations were up 6.3 percent year-over-year, and nearly all seg- ments were up last year.
