The Canvas Medic – Why I use Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl™ Flooring I have been a boater for many years and have owned several boats. My family and I spend every weekend aboa My family and I spend every weekend aboard in the summer. I started with a 20 foot runabout and now I own a 330 Silverton Sport Bridge cruiser. I have always been a "do-it-yourself" type guy and have heavily modified and updated all of my boats. The weak link in all of my updating projects was finding the perfect flooring for the Marine environment; something with style and durability. While at the Louisville, KY boat show in 2014, I happened upon Infinity Luxury Woven Woven Vinyl™ (LWV) flooring. I immediately liked everything about it; the look, the feel, and the durability touted by the manufacturer. As the owner/operator of a Marine canvas business, The Canvas Medic, I immediately contacted Infinity and obtained enough material to do the exterior of my 330 Silverton as my trial boat. The results were stunning! Everyone that saw it was amazed and full of questions about the product. My wife and I loved the updated look of our boat and nearly maintenance free quality of Infinity. I started offering LWV to my customers and the response has been amazing. Infinity is a great product to work with. I cut it to shape and bind it with a matching Sunbrella® binding. I sew exclusively with Teflon® thread for added durability. Most installs are snapped in, replacing worn out or dirty carpets. I recently installed the Better than Teak II style Infinity on an older 43 ft. cruise older 43 ft. cruiser. The transformation was jaw dropping. I was invited aboard three adjacent boats for quotes before I was done! The most common response is "That is exactly what I have been looking for and How can I get it?" Infinity really hits 3 sweet spots with my clients; price, style, & durability. I am more a craftsman than a salesman and Infinity sells itself. The vast majority of my Infinity installs are from acquaintances of prior Infinity jobs. Once people see it and wa Infinity jobs. Once people see it and walk on it, they want it. It is simply better flooring. I now do as much or more Infinity projects as prior canvas work and it has been a great addition to my business. I do not cut corners with my customers when it comes to materials and workmanship. Infinity has met my high standards and fits well with my business model. It's what boaters everywhere have been wai been waiting for and it is finally here!
