General Info AUDIO RECORDINGS Following the conference, audio recordings of most sessions will be available AT NO COST TO ILTA MEMBERS for immediate download from the conference website in MP3 format. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS Although ILTA will not offer continuing education credit, an ILTA certificate of completion will be offered. Attendees may seek CLE credit or other continuing education credit on their own. To obtain a certificate of attendance, provide a list of all session dates/ times/titles to Randi Mayes at randi@iltanet.org following the conference. BARCODE SCANNING Your name tag is printed with a barcode that will be scanned as you enter meals, social events and session rooms, and it might be scanned by vendors (with your permission) in the Exhibit Hall. Participation in barcode scanning is strictly voluntary. Attendees may bypass the scanners at any time. The barcodes on conference badges will be used for the following purposes only: • Proof of purchase for admission to meals and social events for our member "full event" registrants. For all other attendees, meal/ event tickets are provided to qualified badge holders and ticket purchasers. • Educational session attendance-tracking: - Attendees will be scanned upon entering an educational session. - Session attendance-tracking information, reported in the aggregate, will be used only by ILTA's staff and volunteer leaders and will not be shared with anyone outside this designated group. 22 Program Guide ac2dc 2012 - The attendee demographics will be used for statistical purposes to assist our future planning efforts. - No personal information will be used for reporting purposes. EXHIBIT HALL LEAD RETRIEVAL Attendees may be scanned by vendors in the Exhibit Hall. Data provided to vendors is equivalent to a business card and will include name, title, firm, phone number, email address and postal address. Scanning is optional and completely at the discretion of the attendee. Scanning is not required for participation in Vendor Bingo. We respect your privacy, and the confidentiality of your data is ensured within these parameters. GREEN INITIATIVES Reduction in Paper: Wherever possible, we have reduced the amount of paper we are producing. Our efforts include the use of thumb drives to deliver session materials, this digital program guide and our session materials available for download from the conference website for printing on an ad hoc basis onsite. Reduction in "Other" Materials: Audio recordings of many sessions are available for download in MP3 format. Reduction in Disposable Plastic Water Bottles: Water stations are located throughout the convention center and at meals. Use of Recycled Materials: The majority of paper conference materials are produced on recycled paper. Many of the napkins and other paper products are produced from recycled materials.
