18 FESTIVAL www.guestlist.net BESTIVAL @ Isle of Wight 6th- 9th September Get ready to celebrate the end of the summer with one of our favourite festivals. With numerous awards, including 'Fans' Favourite Festival' in 2011 and 'Best Major Festival' in 2010, Bestival is the one fancy dress festival in the UK you just have to attend. Its popularity is not surprising considering its past attractions offering a Roller Disco, Wishing Tree Stage and a Bollywood Cocktail Bar. The Bestival line-up has always been to its very best, and this year is no exception. With performances from the likes of Stevie Wonder, De La Soul, Florence and the Machine, Lianne La Havas, Jake Bugg and SBTRKT, there is definitely something for everyone. There are also DJ sets from Rob da Bank, Scratch Perverts, Flux Pavilion and DJ Yoda to get you in the party mood. This year, Bestival are providing festival-goers with tons of things to do including a Slumbarave (the clue is in the name), UV ping pong aka Ping Tron, and Crafternoon Tea - all of which sound pretty cool, if you ask me. I've got my ticket. Have you? Issue 42 / 2012 BOOMBAP FESTIVAL 14th- 16th September @ Peterborough Boombap Festival is the brainchild of promoters Roots n Culture & Boom Bap.
