If there's something that people love it's complete and utter mystery. Weslee's breakout song 'Gassed' has been shazamed and searched over 10,000 times after appearing in a popular FX series You're The Worst. The problem? There is still little known about Weslee. No bio or social media profiles to go off. Just an enchanting voice that has reverberated in the eardrums of listeners and left many wanting more. Hypnotic electro and chilled sounds will have you feeling afloat on your commute home. When artists are so mysterious you get to imagine the stories behind the music and indeed the art takes an entity of its own. Flume puts out some spacey-ish. Last year's SIDEXSIDE was a day to remember. Tobacco Docks was vibsing from the moment we entered the building and this year it's looking to be another day of magic. ONE TO WATCH: FLUME The Great Gallery will be hosted by the original champion Jamie Jones. He'll be playing host with a collection of the world's hottest talent, including Nicole Moudaber and Cassy who'll bring their own touch of brilliance. In control of the Car Park, one of our favourite stages, is Guy Gerber side by side with Dubfire, Art Department and Matthew Dear. After Guy Gerber smashed out Rumors in February, this is one stage to make sure you stop by. The underground basement vibes of the stage itself make for the perfect setting for serious techno! SIDEXSIDE's whole concept, allows DJs to really push boundaries and get artists to dig out classics and new bangers alike, moments like this are seen no-where else. Flume gave us an extra four tracks in mid Feb under the name Skin Companion EP II, it's a compliment to his Skin EP last month. He's one of the few electronic artists who actually creates an entire story within an album. This deserves the biggest shout out to what could be one of the most motivating and quickest zero to hero stories in dance. Flume was posting his mixes on Reddit a mere 4 years ago and has since then won a Grammy for his work. There's no denying talent and when artists are still offering their music for free with no subscription needed - you have to herald the guys that stay true to their roots.
