The Deep is out on the 31st of this month. The 13-track liquid gem is full of the chilled melodic vibes that the DJ never fails to provide. Look out for 'Mr Natural' and 'Round Box,' which seem set to be my faves for the sleepy spring and summer days ahead. ALBUM OF THE MONTH: LENZMAN - EARTH TONES Lenzman sets the tone right for his latest release. After his tight liquid roller back in January, Lenzman drops his next album-standard release on The North Quarter. Racking up to 8 full length tracks and a hip hop intro skit, 'Earth Tones' characterises Lenzman's blissful signature sound. Whilst staying true to his dedicated drum & bass following, Lenzman doesn't hesitate to explore notions of jazz, hip hop and soul in his well established 175 formula. Getting deep into the vibes, Earth Tones is exactly why Lenzman set up The North Quarter. He launched the project last summer, and is rapidly becoming a beacon for drum & bass' more soulful edge.
