32 • April 3, 2017 • Powersports Business ATV/UTV www.PowersportsBusiness.com New Holland, Textron combine for Rustler 850 AWD, EPS and 2,000-lb. towing capacity part of new UTV Following the announcement of its collabora- tion with Textron Specialized Vehicles, New Holland Agriculture unveiled the new Rus- tler 850 model at the 2017 World Ag Expo in Tulare, California, and the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, both in February. The Rustler 850's 62 hp EFI engine is pre- cision-tuned to maximize power and perfor- mance, while its four-wheel double A-arm suspension ensures a comfortable ride. Stan- dard front and rear sway bars promote superior agility and handling on off-road terrain. With a 1,500-lb. total capacity, the Rustler can handle heavy-duty loads for work, or haul gear and coolers when headed out for relaxation after the job is done. The Rustler 850 features on-demand all- wheel drive (AWD), electronic power steering (EPS), front and rear sway bars for increased traction and handling, 2,000 lbs. of towing capacity, and a 1,000-lb. capacity tilt bed. Safety features include a rollover protective structure (ROPS), three-point seatbelt system, a front- mounted steel brush guard, headlights and brake lights. The vehicle's cowl takes styling cues from current New Holland products, and its finish will promote New Holland's signature blue color. The new Rustler 850 will be available in the United States and Canada beginning in spring of this year. PSB A collaboration between Textron Specialized Vehicles and New Holland Agriculture has resulted in the launch of the Rustler 850 side-by-side. DIGEST Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, announced the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative awarded more than $350,000 in funds and equip- ment to 26 grant recipients in 2016. The final grants for 2016 comprised more than $73,000 awarded to four recipients, including support for both National Hunting and Fishing Day (NHF Day) and the Progressive Agricultural Foun- dation's Safety Day program. "For a decade, Yamaha has been supporting National Hunting and Fish- ing Day's message of responsible outdoor recreation and open access, and with an Access Initiative grant to the Progressive Agricultural Foundation, we extend that message to families and youth in the farming and ranching com- munities across the country," said Steve Nessl, Yamaha's ATV and SxS group marketing manager. "With the challenges facing access to our nation's land, the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative remains a steadfast resource support- ing those working to responsibly, safely and sustainably protect and expand the opportuni- ties for enjoying the outdoors." The Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative continues to serve the greater outdoor rec- reational community, promoting safe and responsible use of ATV and side-by-side vehicles, as well as providing support for grassroots projects that protect, expand and improve access to land for diverse, public use and enjoyment. Most recently Yamaha worked to spread awareness of the importance of open and sustainable access at the 2017 National Shooting Sport Foundation's (NSSF) SHOT Show in Las Vegas — an event that brought together more than 64,000 pro- fessionals in the shooting, hunt- ing and outdoors industry. As the powersports indus- try's leading land access advo- cate protecting the interests of those who work and play outdoors, Yamaha's Outdoor Access Initiative supports off- highway vehicle (OHV) riders and drivers, as well as those who rely on land access to camp, hunt, fish or farm. ARCTIC CAT PARTNERS WITH TONY STEWART RACING Arctic Cat announced a partnership with Tony Stewart Racing and Donny Schatz that includes primary sponsorship of the TSR No. 15 Arctic Cat Sprint Car. Schatz will compete at more than 90 races from coast to coast in 2017. In addition, Arctic Cat will also be co- primary sponsor on the TSR No. 14 that Tony Stewart will pilot in more than 50 races.
