Our industry plays a big role in the nation's economy and also in creating important assets such as green spaces, parks and sports facilities that benefi t the wider community. And this month we have a wide range of stories, technical articles and product information that perfectly captures just how diverse our industry has become. In our new Professional Groundscare supplement we take a look at sports turf maintenance, as well as look at how fi nance deals are becoming increasingly important in the machinery market. There is a Q&A with the new head groundsman at Leicester Tigers rugby club, as well as case studies and product news from across the sector. Elsewhere this month we also look at the hard landscaping industry, the increasing importance of water management through correct drainage and irrigation, as well as a detailed round-up of the pedestrian and remote controlled mower market. We need to celebrate the diversity of our industry more and the vital role it plays in society. Paul Groves, Editor Contents 02 APRIL 2017 www.landscapeandamenity.com Welcome...
