NEXT STEP Issued by Carl Bimel's generous gift of $2 million, the "Next Step Challenge" is a grassroots effort focused on closing the scholarship funding gap for Purdue football student-athletes. Current members can participate by upgrading their JPC membership to the next giving level for four years. Those who answer the challenge will receive 50 bonus JPC priority points. FLY YOUR FLAG! THE TEAM BEHIND THE TEAMS JPC MEMBERSHIP EVENTS • More than 100 Boilermakers gathered on Aug. 25 in Lake Forest, Ill., for a "Kickoff to Kickoff" event with special guests and past Purdue football players Tim Stratton and Jeff Zgonina to talk about the 2012 football season. • On Sept. 6, all around Fort Wayne are invited to the 2012 Football and Basketball Season Preview event.
