Flavors include a blend of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, along with a barrel-aged, rummy character. The spirit, which has no artifi cial fl avors or colors, is aged in American white oak barrels and retails for $29.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Following a New York launch last year, Ancho Reyes Verde has expanded distribution in California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois and Florida. This spicy liqueur is made with poblano chiles that were harvested early in the maturation process while still green and then fi re roasted. The result is an herbal brightness that works well in Margaritas, Gimlets and Daiquiris, the company says. The suggested price is $32.99 per 750-ml. bottle. SweetWater Brewing is rolling out four new beers. Grass Monkey is a hoppy, pale wheat with lemongrass; a big stash of Lemondrop hops were added to the kettle and dry hop. The spring "Dank Tank" release, Old Man Johnson's Farm, is an imperial stout with raspberries. Single Hop Mosaic IPA features Mosiac hops and is the fi rst release from Sweetwater's pilot 5-barrel brewhouse. The 20th Anniversary Ale is a hop-forward Brettanomyces. Imported from France by Biggar & Leith, Spytail Black Ginger Rum is based on a 19th-century recipe. The rum is distilled in the Caribbean, and then aged, spiced and blended at a distillery in the Cognac region of France. Spytail is bottled at 40% to 42% ABV and retails for a suggested price of $21.99 to $23.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Italy's Castello di Gabbiano winery estate, located in Tuscany's Chianti Classico region, has launched its fi rst vintage of the Dark Knight red blend. Crafted by Tuscan-born wine- maker Federico Cerelli, it's a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and sangiovese. Imported into the U.S. by Treasury Wine Estates, the wine has a suggested retail price of $17 per 750-ml. bottle. Limestone Branch Distillery has released Minor Case Straight rye whiskey, which underwent a sherry cask fi nish and is bottled at 90 proof. Aged two years, this whiskey offers a warm rye spice complemented by the dried fruit notes from the sherry cask, the company says. From the same producers of the Yellowstone bourbon brand, the rye is packaged in a fl ask-style bottle with a letterpress label and a cork topper, and retails for a suggested price of $49.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Ole Smoky Outsiders Farrell Shine is a joint release with WGN America for the second season of the network's Outsiders. The limit- ed-edition Ole Smoky Outsiders Farrell Shine is inspired by the fi ctional "Farrell Wine" featured in the show and contains similar ingredients, the company says. Ole Smoky Outsiders Farrell Shine is a 70-proof ginger and ginseng-fl avored moonshine, housed in a commemorative mason jar, and retails for a suggested price of $24.95 per 750-ml. jar. A ready-to-serve chelada, Modelo Chelada Tamarindo Picante contains traditional Mexican ingredients for a sweet/spicy fl avor. A blend of beer, tomato, salt and lime, along with tamarind and chipotle peppers, Modelo Chelada Tamarindo has an ABV of 3.3%, and a suggested price of $2.99 for a 24-oz. can. Bottled at 90 proof, Ezra Brooks Straight Rye offers slightly sweet and oaky tones with a warm, spicy fi nish, the company reports. The suggested retail price is $18.99 to 21.99 per 750- ml. bottle. A new look for the brand includes a corked bottle with a matte-fi nish closure capsule, plus a higher-end label for a "craftier feel," the company says. PRODUCTS
