A combination of up and down lights were installed, highlighting major focal points, while deck and path lights provided illumination for safer walkways. MR16 bullet lights, tree lights, deck lights and China Hat path lights from CAST Lighting were used with Brilliance LED MR16 4- and 5-watt lamps of various beam spreads. Listening closely to the customer's wants helped make this a successful project. This project was designed and installed by Imagine Lighting. This elegant Italian waterfront home on Brightwaters Blvd is nestled in the exclusive Snell Isle neighborhood of Saint Petersburg, Fla. With a lush, tropical landscape design embracing a grand entrance, the landscape lighting adds to the sophisticated aura. This home is a showpiece that represents the people that occupy it. Every feature space and architectural detail of the home itself is illuminated. Coppermoon brass bullet fi xtures with Brilliance LED Lamps highlight the home's unique elements of architectural style. The tropical landscape features a variety of tall palms, all uplight, with path lights highlighting the beds and paths. On the rear pool deck, up lighting was used on the large royal palms around the pool with the city just beyond the palms. The project used Brilliance LED MR16s 5w and 7w, G4 bipin, Coppermoon Bullets CM125ANT with Mr16 5w and 7w Brilliance LED lamps, Coppermoon Path lights Cm700/20ANT with G4 Brilliance LED lamps. This home is located in Carefree, Ariz., and the goal of the project was to create a safe and inviting entrance to the home, as well as a safe and well-lit designation of parking both to the right and left of the front door. The down lighting from the tree (just out of frame on the left) lights the fl ower pot in a beautiful way. The cross lighting on the wall vines was another technique to create unique shadow projection. This project utilized Brilliance LED MR-16s, Micro G4s, and AR-11s — all in 2700 kelvin color temperature. This edition of The Art of Design is sponsored by Brilliance LED, a Carefree, Ariz., manufacturer of high-performance landscape retrofi t lamps serving both commercial and residential markets.
