16 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ The Juggler NC State is looking for a new punt returner to replace departed senior Bra'Lon Cherry. An ideal candidate would be junior Nyheim Hines. In this punt fielding drill, Hines had to catch a series of footballs, holding onto each without dropping any while hauling in the next one. Juggling multiple things at once is nothing new for the Garner native — in addition to starring on the football field, he has been competing in sprints for the NC State track team. And when he's on the gridiron, he plays multiple positions. After moving to running back this spring, Hines was the Wolfpack's only healthy scholarship rusher, and head coach Dave Doeren has said he'll play in the backfield, continue to line up in the slot — where he has played his first two years — and return kickoffs (and punts?).
