He also rejected overtures from Alabama, even after Tide head coach Nick Saban made the trip to Princeton to personally recruit him. Frasier though fell behind in his condi- tioning when he arrived at NC State and redshirted in the fall of 2015. He ran 18 times for 64 yards and a touchdown in six games during his rookie season before be- ing shut down due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. Also leaving the team were a pair of fifth-year seniors for different reasons. Cornerback Sean Paul has left with a medi- cal hardship. The Vero Beach (Fla.) High product was one of head coach Dave Do- eren's first commitments after taking the job in December 2012. Tight end Pharoah McKever, who is gradauting in May, will depart as a grad transfer. The Tabor City, N.C. native and South Columbus High product also played defensive end and wide receiver at NC State. McKever will be eligible to play right away at his new school.
