The totals include P&A sold at the time of the sale of the new unit, whether it be multi- purpose, multi-purpose 2-up or sport models sold in the U.S. and Canada. The data, provided by longtime Lightspeed data analyst Hal Ethington and his team, shows 145,400 new ATV units sold in 2016 by dealers who use Lightspeed, with $894 mil- lion in unit sales. Louisiana remains the No. 1 state when it comes to overall accessories sold with the sale of a new ATV. However, Cajun Country took a hit when comparing 2016 to 2015. In 2015, Louisiana achieved 8.6 percent accessory sales and dropped to 5.2 percent in 2016. Tennessee also saw a drop in accessory sales in 2016. Ten- nessee ranked second in 2015 in the U.S.; the Volunteer State now ranks sixth at 3.8 percent.
