He succeeds Greg Hooks, who will continue to serve as a member of CURT's Board of Directors. "After a comprehensive search facilitated by a top executive search firm, we're delighted that Roch will lead CURT as we move forward as an industry leader with an expanding portfolio of brands and products," said Jay Mitchell, a managing director of Audax Private Equity, the firm that owns CURT. "Roch was the top choice from a pool of highly qualified and interested candidates. He has a thorough understanding of the needs of the growing organi- zation, the industry, and our customers." Lambert has more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the durable consumer goods environment. He has spent the past 20 years of his career in senior executive-level roles, serving on several industry boards of directors, including most recently as CEO and chairman of the board for RBH/ Beneteau Group (Four Winns, Glastron, Scarab and Wellcraft). Lambert succeeds Hooks, who joined CURT as CEO in 2000 and led the Eau Claire, Wis.-based company through a series of acquisitions, including Aries Automotive, Towing Electrical Systems (TES) and Luverne Truck Equipment. Blue Ox Promotes Henry, Hires Kusch Laura Henry has been promoted to the position of inside sales manager, heading up the national inside sales team for Pender, Neb.-based Blue Ox. Previously, Henry was an out- side sales representative for Blue Ox. Her territory included Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. "Laura has been outstanding in her previous role as an outside sales representative. As we continue to grow, our inside sales team has become an even more integral part in growing our RV, truck accessories, and commercial divisions and in building deeper relationships with our dealers," said Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann. "Laura's exceptional leadership ability, com- bined with her extraordinary commit- ment to the care of our dealers, makes her ideal to fulfill this role. She is the embodiment of the values to which we are dedicated as a company." In a related move, Harry Kusch has joined Blue Ox as a dealer devel- opment manager in outside sales serving customers in Dela- ware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia. Before joining the company, Kusch served in various roles in the oil and energy industries, focusing on sales and the management of accounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan. Lambert Henry Kusch Bretz Wins SBA Montana Small Business Person Award Mark Bretz, CEO and chairman of the board of Bretz RV and Marine in Missoula, Mont., has been named by the Small Business Administration as Montana's Small Business Person of the Year. Bretz was one of several small business owners across the country to be recognized by the SBA. "These small business owners define entrepreneurial spirit and best represent the 28 million small businesses that are the backbone and economic engine for today's economy," said SBA Administrator Linda McMahon in announcing the award. Bretz RV and Marine is an RV Dealers Association member. Each year since 1963, the president has issued a proclamation calling for the celebration of National Small Business Week, which is set for the first week in May with national events planned in Washington, D.C., New York, Indianapolis, Dallas and Fresno, Calif.
