rience, they can make plays. We have
a few guys up front who when they're
healthy can do a good job. I'm looking
for them to play well."
Q: You didn't do very much with
special teams this spring. Do you
have enough answers there exiting
the spring?
Brohm: "It all starts with the guys
kicking and returning. I do feel like
our placekicker, J.D. (Dellinger), has
made some strides and from what I've
seen, I thought he did a very good job.
I feel confident that when the season
starts, he'll be ready to go. I think the
guy behind him is not too far behind.
So I feel good there. I think our long
snapper (Ben Makowski) is somebody
we can count on that'll be accurate and
you won't even notice him, which is
good. Our punter (Joe Schopper) has
experience. While I would have liked
to have seen him punt better in the
spring game, I think he's done some
good things. I think the backup behind
him has challenged him as well. So I
think it starts there. We do have to find
the right kick returners.
"When it comes to schemes and
what we're doing, I feel very confident
there. We didn't show much of that. We
did more fundamentals and technique
to make sure we're ready to go. But I
think probably the main thing we need
to work on is getting a true kickoff guy.
We're working with the guys we have,
and we're always open to anything as
well because I think it's important to
try to get the ball to the end zone."
Q: How would you evaluate the
quarterback position coming out
of the spring?
Brohm: "We want David (Blough)
to continue to improve. He has all the
