Mark Bretz named Montana Small Business Person of Year Mark Bretz has been selected by the U.S Small Business Administration as the 2017 Montana State Small Business Person of the Year. Bretz RV & Marine is celebrating its 50th anniversary during 2017. Bretz RV & Marine first started in 1967 when Mark's parents, Frank and Vi Bretz, bought some Aloha Trailers and began rent- ing them at their small service station in Mis- soula. Mark and his brother Dave grew the company into four dealerships in Missoula, Billings and Boise with over 330 year-round and seasonal employees. In addition to its operations, Bretz RV & Marine is known for its active presence in the Missoula community. It frequently partners with outdoor retail stores such as Cabela's and Bob Ward's and sponsor local events such as Big Sky Film Festival, Downtown Tonight and Garden City River Rod Run. Each year, the dealership supports various groups such as high school athletic teams, local law enforce- ment and nonprofit organizations throughout Montana, as a way to acknowledge the impor- tance of giving back to the community. Moncton Boat Show sets attendance record The 2017 edition of the Moncton Boat Show set a record for attendance, show or- ganizers said. The Moncton Boat Show, which took place March 31 through April 2, was co-lo- cated with the New Brunswick Sportsmen's Show and Dieppe Fly Fishing Forum at the Moncton Coliseum Complex in Moncton, New Brunswick. Just over 10,000 combined visitors were in attendance over the three days of the event. "This is the third year in a row that we've set records with the show's atten- dance," said Show Manager Scott Sprague. "The numbers have been consistently up and we're happy to see solid crowds and people shopping and taking in everything these events have to offer." Strictly Sail Miami making move to Miami Marine Stadium Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami will join the Progressive Insurance Miami Interna- tional Boat Show at Miami Marine Stadium for the 2018 show, held Feb. 15-19.
