Similar to the brand's pinot noir and chardonnay, the 2016 Meiomi Rosé blends grapes from Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Barbara counties. Meiomi Rosé 2016 is available in limited supply in select locations nationwide. Light salmon in color with just a kiss of pink hue, the 2016 Meiomi Rosé opens to aromas of watermelon, orange peel and hints of rose petal, the company reports. A 70/30 Garnache/Cinsault blend, it is grown and produced at the Caves du Commandeur estate near the Provençale village of Mont- fort-sur-Argens. URL: www.opiciwines.com 14 OAK & CANE AMERICAN CRAFT RUM Oak & Cane is an American-made gold rum from south Florida, double distilled, aged in white American Oak and rested with fresh Florida orange peels. Created using locally sourced ingredients, Oak & Cane, 40% ABV, is available for purchase throughout Florida, and at OakandCane.com. On the nose, Oak & Cane has aromas of citrus over aromatic wood, the company reports. On the palate are hints of vanilla and caramel. URL: www.oakandcane.com 15 PUEBLA, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ MEZCALS Mezcales de Leyenda has unveiled new expressions made from agave from different Mexican states: Puebla and San Luis Potosí. The fi rst of the two new mezcals is Puebla, which is produced from agave poatorium, or "Tobala." To the north, San Luis Potosí comes from salmiana agave grown on the rocky, arid central Mexican plateau. With this introduction, Mezcales de Leyenda now offers fi ve different mezcals, from fi ve different regions, using fi ve different types of agave. It's barrel-fi nished in French oak wine casks from Napa valley. Gold Bar is matured outside, by the sea, in the San Francisco Bay. A solid brass coin is pressed into the front of each bottle. With a thicker tomato consistency than a conventional commercial mix, a single bottle of Smokin' Mary makes about fi ve full-strength cocktails, the company says.
