UTV Factory Rides We take a look at the current UTV Manufacturing battles that haven’t been seen for a very long time. Since the intense OEM Truck and Motorcycle decades where the manufactures were battling at every level to promote and activate the major belief that “what wins on Sunday sells on Monday!” It is no surprise that the UTV category OEM manufacturing base is highly motivated and active in driving this category and their amazing sales numbers. We speak with the individuals responsible for these programs and the participating factory backed teams to learn more about what is behind the “Factory Rides”. This historic 2017 SCORE World Desert Championship season continues with the SCORE Baja 500! Now in its 49th year, this race event will be another one for the record books as the teams SCORE International and the industry prepare another step on the road to the SCORE Baja 1000 50th Anniversary race celebration this November. Continuing with the editorial special race preview sections we started developing last year, this SCORE Baja 500 preview adds even more information about the local town, restaurants and additional area topics that have not been included in the past. Thanks to our team now in place in the SCORE Ensenada office, we now have access to all this information to make your race experience even more memorable. As we continue to recognize those special individuals who contributed to the 50th SCORE Baja 1000 race history, we had an opportunity to recently visit with two Baja icons, Steve Hengeveld, 8x Motorcycle Class Winner and 2x Overall Trophy Truck class winner, BJ Baldwin about their SCORE Baja 1000 experiences and plans for this year’s special race event.
