2017 ARIZONA OFF-ROAD EXPO The Spring Event Brought Together The Off-Road Industry In Scottsdale, Arizona. By SCORE Journal Staff
Photos by: Off-Road Expo / Jon Whittle Sometimes it only takes an open dirt field for off-road enthusiasts to have a great time, but when an event like the Arizona Off-Road Expo comes to Scottsdale, Arizona, the excitement level reaches epic proportions. Held at the WestWorld of Scottsdale event center, the weekend of March 18th and 19th proved to be where all of the off-road industry gathered to showcase the latest products and vehicles that make up our sport. Displays from a variety of manufacturers including the Geiser Brothers Trophy Truck display represented the motorsports category of the off-road industry. Those who attended got to see many of the best vehicles off-road racing has to offer, including a growing segment of UTVs. From Polaris, Yamaha, Arctic Cat, and Can-Am, the Arizona Off-Road Expo had a variety of stock to full race side-by-side vehicles on display. Custom UTVs were also on display, showcasing what could be done to these vehicles from adding aftermarket suspension systems to fully modified engines and bodies. The crowds also got to see live off-road action from motorcycle freestyle stunt teams to buggies and short course vehicles flying off a dirt course at the Expo’s proving grounds. When the dirt wasn’t flying, the abundance of aftermarket parts was more than enough for attendees to see the latest products available to make their vehicles perform better on or off the pavement. 4 Wheel Parts had a huge area where they were showing and selling a wide variety of parts from tires and shocks, to winches and tow straps. While the size and scope of the 2017 Arizona Off-Road Expo may have been a lot for people to see, the event promoters offered a free Off-Road Expo Event mobile APP, which was a great way for participants to find out what events were going on so they wouldn’t have to miss anything. While the 2017 Arizona Off-Road Expo is over, the excitement will still continue at the next event, the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo that will be held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California September 30th through October 1st.
