Steve Ball, formerly director of North American sales, is appointed director of strategic business development. In his new role Ball is responsible for overseeing the development and growth of SAi Flexi sign making solutions, and helping expand the company's subscription-based purchasing model. Filling Ball's shoes as director of sales for North America is Mark Stevens. In his new role, Stevens will continue to manage the direct sales department as well as expand its North American channel sales. Grand Rapids, Michigan-based SignComp, a provider of framing, cabinet and raceway extrusion solutions to the signage industry, announces the promotion of Jason Lamberts as new company president. Lamberts had previously been the company's chief financial officer. He replaces Peter Lamberts, who is taking the role of CEO. Aside from its Michigan headquarters, SignComp, founded in 1986, also has a facility in Harsham, England. Ricoh Australia, a division of Tokyo-based Ricoh Co., a manufacturer of commercial inkjet printheads and office imaging equipment, announces the appointment of Andy Berry as managing director of Ricoh Australia, replacing John Hall, who recently retired. In his new role, Berry will be responsible for driving Ricoh's transformational strategy and ensuring its Australia operations are aligned with the company's global strategy. Portland, Oregon-based digital display manufacturer Planar, a Leyard company, announces the hiring of three news sales managers. Josh Tonasket, Mitch Rosenberg, and Todd Dunlop. Tonasket will be responsible for managing sales efforts for Northern California. Rosenberg will manage the company's sales territory of Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas. Dunlop has joined the Planar/ Leyard sales team to manage the company's sales efforts for Nevada and Arizona. Perception Wide Format Media, a brand of Nashua, New Hampshire- based Worthen Industries, announces the addition of Brian Anderson to its ACT Group as a senior inkjet product development manager. In this role Anderson will lead the company's mission to develop world- class coatings and coated substrates. He will lead the customer-facing technical interactions with potential customers; work with the sales and marketing teams; and identify existing customer needs and develop new products to meet those needs. In addition Anderson will provide training on inkjet receptive applications to employees, agents and customers. Woodridge, Illinois-based exhibit display company Nimlok announces that Nimlok Chicago, the exclusive distributor for the Chicagoland area, has added Alyssa Issler, exhibit designer, to its growing team of exhibit and display professionals. Issler joins the creative exhibit design team at Nimlok Chicago with a background in concept development, 3D modeling and manufacturing in the consumer goods and housewares industry. Delano, Minnesota-based Easiway Systems, makers of screen printing chemicals and equipment, announces the hiring of Alex Mammoser as midwest regional manager and director of international business development. In this role, Mammoser's responsibilities will be managing and growing Easiway's customer base in the midwest regional territory of the U.S., along with developing new business opportunities internationally.
