HARSH-CONDITION FILM Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions, Mentor, Ohio, announces the launch of MPI 1006, a new digital cast film featuring a Hi-Tack, high performance adhesive. Avery Dennison MPI 1006 pairs Hi-Tack adhesive with Easy Apply technology, allowing original equipment manufacturers' graphics to perform well even in harsh, outdoor environments. The new Hi-Tack adhesive allows cast and calendered vinyl films to adhere to challenging substrates such as powder- coated paints, low-surface-energy plastics, fiberglass and glossy or matte finish protective clear coats, providing long-term durability. Easy Apply air egress technology makes graphic installation on these surfaces, often found on dirt bikes, boats and industrial equipment, quicker and reduces the likelihood of bubbles during application. MPI 1006 Hi-Tack joins the suite of Hi-Tack adhesive products introduced earlier this year, including MPI 2126 digital calendered vinyl film, 700 High Performance calendered films and 900 Supercast films.
