18 • WRAPS • 2 0 1 7 BUSINESS & SALES announce the winning wrap of the com- petition. Congrats to Nick Caminiti of Exotic Graphix, who was crowned King of the Wrap World with their "Toxic Rat" wrap: a highly modified rat rod with stunning graphics that mimic an elabo- rate and stylized paint job. If you have not yet seen this project, it's highly rec- ommended to check it out. The amount of hard work and dedication they put into this wrap really shows. They truly earned the 1st place title. The final notable event from 2016 was an epic collaboration between two of the leading networks in the wrap industry. Paint is Dead ( PID) and Masters of Branding (MOB) came together at Chicago Motor Cars in Las Vegas to host the World-Wide Wrap Recognition and Appreciation Party, or WWWRAP. Sponsors unveiled new wrap films and products, which required the members to wrap 13 cars in a span of 24-48 hours. Quite impressive! As our industry grows and becomes even more tight-knit, the phrase "wrap family" is quickly catching on, becom- ing more and more relevant. But nothing says 'family' more than when one of the members of MOB, Jeremy Conner, asked the love of his life to marry him at the event—congrats to Jeremy and Amy! We're already well on our way through 2017, but there's still no sign of which exciting new event or trend the remainder of the year has in store. The rapid growth and limitless creativ- ity will always be something to look forward to, but it's always nice to look back and appreciate how far we've come. Hope to see you all on the west coast at WRAPSCON 2017 in Long Beach, California!
