Thomas Edward Lynch was born in Peter- borough Ontario on August 13, 1951 and died peaceful- ly on June 3, 2017 at Perth Smiths Falls District Hospital, Great War Memorial Perth site. Thomas was the son of Elva Jean Lynch (nee Laing) and the late Edward George Lynch of London, Ontario. He was the older brother of Anne, Mark, Terry and Wendy. A celebration of life, lived just the way he wanted it, will be held on Sun., June 24 from 2-5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Upper Rideau Branch 542 in Westport. All of his Friends are most welcome! Please bring memories and pictures. Genge, Wilma Alice Wilma Alice Genge passed away peacefully and joined her late husband Neil Genge on April 6, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Wilma was born in Westport, Ontario on March 14, 1934, daughter of the late Fred and Stella Dier. She was prede- ceased by her sister Virginia Blair and brothers-in-law Harold Blair and Jim Wing. Wilma was a lov- ing mother to her son Steve and his wife Denise, and her daughter Karen, a wonderful Nana to Nicholas and Jonelle, and dear sister to Roma Wing and to twin brother Wayne Dier and his wife Janice. She will be fondly remembered and missed by sisters-in-law Thelma Brown, Ruth Gorrie, Joyce (Gary) Fullerton, Jo-Ann (Wilson) Smith and Carol (Doug) Shelton, and by all Genge and Dier nieces, nephews and their families. Our memories of Wilma, Mom, Nana will remain treasured forever in our hearts. Graveside service will be held in Westport at the Knox Presbyterian Cemetery on June 17th at 1pm. GATENBY : SUZANNE C. Susan passed peaceably in her sleep after a quiet day with family. She was 71 years old. Susan was born in Kingston, Ontario on 26 February 1946, the seventh child of eight of Freeda Jane Murphy and Howard Jeremi- ah Murphy of Wolfe Island, Ontario. Following the death of her father at a young age, Susan moved with her mother and seven siblings to Westport, Ontario. Susan was raised in Westport and graduated high school from St. Edward Catholic School. Susan married Frank Garvin in 1965 and moved the following year to Fort McMurray, Alberta, where she raised her three sons Tim- othy, Thomas and Christopher. Susan later moved to St Albert, Alberta where she had a long career in retail man- agement. Susan had a lifetime love of literature and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Alberta. Susan is survived by her sons Timothy Garvin and his wife Samantha Garvin and Christopher Garvin and his partner Gary Ludlow, grandchildren Hadley Elizabeth Garvin and Christopher Spencer Thomas Garvin, sister Patricia Doyle and her husband John Doyle, brother Howard 'Lad' Murphy and his wife Ann Murphy, sisters- in-law Peggy Murphy, Barbara Murphy and Marjorie 'Meg' Murphy, former spouse Frank Garvin, and many nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her son Thomas Patrick Garvin, and her siblings Jeremiah 'Jerry' Murphy, Josephine 'Joey' O'Brien, Peter Murphy, Michael Murphy and Matthew Murphy. Susan was buried near her hometown of Westport. Inter- ment and Rite of Committal was at St Edward's RC Cemetery at 10am on June 10th.
