But for Laura Jones, a uni graduate who fell in love with house and techno during a trip to Ibiza in 2005, that dream has become a reality. Whilst continuing her day-to-day job in marketing, laura had DJ lessons once a week until finally being able to commit full-time. It really was a case of chasing a dream. Since the release of her debut track and massive hit (number one on Beatport Chart for several weeks) 'Love in Me' in 2011 which has since been remixed by the likes of Maceo Plex and Eats Everything, Laura has had a speedy climb to the heights of house fame. Early this summer she played in DC10, Ibiza, the birthplace of her passion, which rocketed her to the attention of many a deep-house head and she's continuing to go from strength to strength with a latin and central American tour currently going on. Despite a degenerative eye condition that could eventually lead to complete loss of sight, Laura is staying positive and with the help of her producer-partner Gavin Herlihy, has been signed to Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom label. They have just released her debut mix CD, which displays a small insight into her intrinsic and coherent vision of house, tunes that could be listened to for hours on end. If you weren't lucky enough to catch her at SW4 then don't worry she's back in the UK towards the end of 2012 and there's no doubt that she will continue to deliver absolutely stunning tunes. TOUR SCHEDULE : JULIO BASHMORE One of the freshest talents' coming out of Bristol, Julio Bashmore is blessing Europe with his atmospheric house beats and irresistible presence.
