The First Look
By Aug. 24, Jeff Brohm will be much more
comfortable inside Purdue's football
performance complex. By then, there
will be actual seats in the team meeting
room, which doubled as the venue for a
recent photo shoot. That particular room
will be one of the more impressive in the
110,000-square-foot building chock full of
them. It'll include 120 seats, each equipped
with power and data ports, and have
significant technology elements, including
multiple large-screen TVs at the front of the
room. Work on the $65-million project was
ramped up in June, with about a hundred
workers on site for much of the month and
likely until the building is turned over to
Purdue personnel.
