While chenille isn't a good match for small designs, they're a great solution for large-scale looks, such as jacket backs. Chenille is sewn on a felt backing which is then trimmed around the design to be stitched down on the desired substrate. Chenille machines are available in a chenille only option and an embroidery combo.
