It goes without saying at this point that Gentleman's Dub Club, DMZ & Mungo's Hifi have performed at virtually every festival in this decade and they will be returning for Outlook's big birthday edition, without a shadow of a doubt. This year Wiley & Dizzee return with the legend DJ Shadow. Giggs will also be making his debut at this year's Outlook, alongside grime newcomers Bugzy Malone and AJ Tracey. In the last decade, Outlook Festival has cemented its position as Europe's go to festival for fans of all different backgrounds & tastes and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. DESPERADOS CLUBHOUSE MEETS BOOMTOWN CHAPTER 9 The Desperados Clubhouse series aims to rekindle the romance lost from some of our legendary UK club nights. So with them now arriving at Boomtown, this promises to be an all out insane party With a busy summer schedule bringing their Clubhouse nights to some of the most iconic venues and festivals in the UK, Desperados descend on the one of the most eccentric festivals in the world, Boomtown. Known for it's far fetched themes and storylines, Boomtown has grown into one of the UK's most anticipated festivals providing nine huge "districts" each with different genres of music, from every end of the spectrum from jungle, folk, americana to gypsy music and everything in between. The Clubhouse series host 2 very special parties at Boomtown this year, with Club Liberty reigniting the speed garage era with an array of iconic veterans such as Matt Jam Lamont, MJ Cole and Wookie who all helped pioneer the UK garage sound in the mid nineties. You also have "Disco '08" which promises you a mirrorball bloodbath provided by some of Dalstons Superstores golden boys. Dan Beaumont and Damon Martin are joined by Crazy P (DJ Set) and Horse Meat Disco fusing some analogue house, Funky NY disco, lunar italo, jacking chicago, dark pop & all manner of sounds that bump in the night. Desperados Clubhouse is rumoured to be held within the Barrio Loco district of Boomtown, known for its focus on House, Techno and Hip Hop. This vibrant part of Boomtown plays host to a veritable smorgasbord of random street parties, aerial circus and bass booming dance venues, and a diverse mash up of grime, house, hip-hop, bashment with everything else in-between.
