GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: CAUSE4CONCERN 42 ISSUE 101 / 2017 Sun & Bass - what more would you want this coming September. Another month, another banger - Cause4Concern Recordings hasn't let off the pressure this year So far this year they've fired out mad tunes from huge names including Current Value & L 33. This month is no different, with a rugged 4 tracked EP seeing the new kids on the block; Inward, Hanzo & Randie going head to head with label bosses Optiv & CZA. The artists have fixed up a heavy release that encapsulates exactly what Cause4Concern is all about. Earth shattering drops, ridiculous levels of bass and infectious hooks are on full display across the Third Kind EP. From the screw-face-inducing 'Knuckle Head' to the perpetual rage of 'Anchor Point', the release inducts the new trio to the camp, with an EP that's combined their fresh take on the sound with the well established, timeless vibes from Optiv & CZA. Found in the sunny island of Sardinia in Italy, the SUNANDBASS festival is back for another unforgettable week long dance fest. Taking place from the 2nd -9th of September, this year's lineup has already got us feeling jittery with excitement. From Calibre, Jumping Jack Frost, Nu: Tone, Lenzaman Fabio & Grooverider, plus plenty more. This year is already looking like another unbelievable set up and we wouldn't miss it for the world. So make sure to grab tickets while you can! ALBUM OF THE MONTH: NU:LOGIC The much awaited return of Nu:Logic finally came to an end last month as the broth- ers finally released their second album, Somewhere Between The Light. Following their debut 'What I've Always Waited For' in 2013, it's fair to say the expectations were pretty high! Though if anyone was up to the challenge it would be the Gresham brothers, and they delivered an exemplary album. From the get go the results of the combined effort of Nu:Tone and Logistics are made very clear - this one's a winner. Drafting in collabs with The Nextmen, LSB, Other Echoes and more, they produce a 13 tracked stunner. From clickstep bobs, half time pounders and of course the sweet rolling liquid riddims, they've pulled out all the stops to produce an album that's packed full of quality, passion and vibes.
